Effects of Progeria

During your first year of life (if you have Progeria) you will have a growth failure, you will start to look like one of your parents very quickly, your skin will become old looking at a young age, and you will start to loose hair early.  Later, small wrinkled face, bald, no eyebrows, or eyelashes, large head for your face, open soft spot, small jaw, dry scaly thin skin, and teeth come in a lot slower or not at all.

Progeria can not be passed from one person to another.  There is no cure for Progeria.  If you have Progeria you will most likely die between the ages of 8-21.
